Women's March - NYC

Yesterday, me and Ashley went up to New York City to see one of her favorite bands Dashboard Confessional. Before the show, we had some time to kill so we decided to walk around midtown Manhattan. As we walked down 5th Avenue, we ran into the Women's March. Me and Ashley originally weren't planning on attending one of the marches that took place all over the country yesterday. As some of you may know, I was not too happy about the outcome of our presidential election. Seeing the crowds, however, was a truly inspiring sight. It was amazing seeing thousands of people of all ages, races, and backgrounds peacefully voicing their opinion on the current president and his proposed agenda. What's even more inspiring was seeing all the crowds not just in New York, but all over the country and globe peacefully protesting. Witnessing yesterday's march reassured me that progressive ideas are far from dead, despite the results of our election.
